Victoria’s interest in clinical psychology matured into passion when she attended a week-long observation programme at the Institute for Mental Health in Singapore as an undergraduate student. She was deeply moved by the hope, courage, honesty and commitment she witnessed in the therapy room. Still today, she continues to be constantly inspired and humbled by the same.
Therapeutic Orientation
Victoria sees therapy as a sacred space dedicated to honest conversations with a safe other with whom it is possible to encounter our unspeakable truths. She believes in a collaborative process where client and therapist walk together towards understanding and change.
Grounded in her understanding of attachment, Victoria uses evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioural therapy and schema therapy, incorporating mindfulness and self-compassion flexibly to meet client needs.
